Victim Support is an independent charity. We give emotional and practical help to people who have been affected by crime in Dorset. Because we are an independent charity you can contact us for support regardless of whether you’ve contacted the police, and no matter how long ago the crime took place. We help people feel safer and find the strength to move beyond crime. Everyone reacts to crime differently, which is why our services are tailored to individual needs. We’re here to help anyone affected by crime, not only those who experience it directly, but also their friends, family and any other people involved. People can be effected by all sorts of crime including: domestic abuse, burglary, hate crimes, sexual assault, bullying, violent crime and many more.
