Break Charity
Break’s core business is the provision of children’s homes. Break has six mainstream children’s homes in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire and a Therapeutic Fostering Service offering single placements to traumatised young people. Young people leaving Break’s care continue to be supported by our in-house Moving On Team. In addition to the mainstream homes, Break has a children’s home for young people with profound learning and physical disabilities and two short-break schemes for children with disabilities. Break also provides a range of assessment and support services to children at risk through a Residential Family Centre in Lowestoft and a range of community-based services, including assessment work, across East Anglia. Families' House, based in Norwich, provides support and guidance to separating parents, ensuring that the children's needs remain paramount.
