The Caterpillar Club

Langside School is a special school for children (aged 2to 19 years) with disabilities and as part of local charity Diverse Abilities, they run 'The Caterpillar Club' for parents and children with disabilities plus their siblings. It runs every Friday morning at Langside School from 10am to 11.30am and gives the opportunity for parents and pre-school children to attend a free, fun and friendly session each week. Children can take part in various activities including music, art, playing with sensory toys and an interactive smart board touch screen.

This club provides the chance for parents to meet other parents with children who have varying disabilities, talk to the trained teachers at Langside and meet with the multi-disciplinary team of physiotherapists, nurses and occupational and speech therapists for any advice or guidance.
