My name is Lucy and I am currently in the process of building up a family childminding business called Little Jemms in a conversion on the side of my own home, which will be completed very soon. In the meantime, childcare will take place in the main house working with one assistant. I have 4 children of my own ranging from 15 down to 4 so I have quite a few years of experience in childcare. I also have 2 family dogs that are very friendly and have been brought up with babies and children. They will be in a separate room when the children are around in case any children are afraid/ nervous around dogs. When the conversion is complete there will be lots of space and activities for the children to enjoy including a separate outside play area too. All children are welcome in my care will be given a warm, secure and stimulating environment where they can feel, relaxed, happy and confident. There is a local shop and a play park within walking distance.
