Wessex Warriors Powerchair Football

Training sessions at Victoria Education Centre every first Saturday of the month, 2pm to 4pm, for anyone with any form of physical disability. Powerchair football is a fast-paced and active sport designed for those with physical disabilities. It is a great team sport that has potential for players to progress from grassroots to national and international level. It is the only sport of it's kind for adults and children with severe physical disbabilities, and offers great opportunities not only in the playing of the sport but coaching as well.

Additional Information
Wessex Warriors PFC is the first powerchair football club to be set up within the area of Dorset. Our aim in the future is that the club will be completely run by young people and with the help of parents and sponsors. We ultimately want to create a sense of community within the club where everyone can get involved - whether helping our players or playing yourself, we want to encourage an interdependent community club. In the UK the sport is governed by the Wheelchair Football Association (The WFA) and worldwide is overseen by FIPFA. Respite / Short Break.
