Young people can sign up for free and search for volunteering opportunities on the website, apply to receive info to their email inbox, receive text notifications and connect via Facebook. Organisations are risk assessed to ensure all necessary procedures are in place but once sorted, opportunities for young people are promoted on the DYA website, promoted within schools and also via social media routes such as Twitter and Facebook. Any volunteers coming forward for opportunities would then contact the organisations direct to take things forward, we would purely promote the opportunity on the organisations behalf.
