We enable our children to become independent and responsible members of the community, who try hard and make good progress. We value qualities such as honesty, kindness, respect and resilience, and encourage all of our children to care for the people and environment around them. We have a new, purpose-built school near to the centre of Bere Regis village. The building is fully accessible and is set in grounds which include gardens, a nature area, extensive play areas and beautiful views of the countryside. Our provision includes pre-school care for children from 2 – 4 years old. Wrap-around care consists of a Breakfast Club running from 7.45 – 8.55am, Monday – Friday, and Creative Club which runs from 3.15 – 5.15pm, Monday – Thursday. Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Local Offer

Support for children and young people with SEN and disabilities: At Bere Regis School we provide a good standard of education for all of our children. Each class has a qualified teacher and is supported with a teaching assistant. Small-group work and 1-1 interventions are managed according to the needs of each child. For children with specific needs we work closely with SENSS (SEN Support Service) the Educational Psychologist and Behaviour Support Service to plan the best possible provision for every child in our care. A dedicated SENDCo co-ordinates the provision of interventions, maps progress and arranges assessments and visits from outside agencies. Two wheelchair-accessible toilets are available - one in the main school and one in the pre-school area.
