Dorset Adult Aspergers Support (DAAS)

Dorset Adult Aspergers Support provides support and information for adults with Asperger's Syndrome and their carers, families, friends and supporters in the Dorset area. We hold regular monthly meetings currently based in two locations - Dorchester and Bournemouth /Poole - where we offer informative talks and discussions relating to Asperger's Syndrome. Our meetings also provide an opportunity for people to share their experiences of living with the condition and its effects and to offer support and help to each other. We are actively involved with local Social Services and the NHS in shaping and developing the services needed by people with Asperger's Syndrome and in highlighting gaps in service provision. We also work to raise awareness of the condition in the local community and to champion the positive values, achievements and potential of people with the condition.
