Sherborne Museum

We have exhibitions & activities suitable for pre-schoolers. Out of season group visits welcome too. Let us know in advance and we will make sure drawing materials are available. Museum volunteers are CRB checked and will ensure your visit is a fun and enjoyable one. If young children can be encouraged to love museums, the more likely they are to visit them as adults! We aim to create a children's corner in each room, with activities, child-friendly exhibits and dressing up opportunities. 'Make their Day' features nursery rhyme story boards with a handling box best suited to Pre-Schools, Rising Fives and early KS1 children.
