Action For M.E. Children And Young People's Service

Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.) is a long-term (chronic), fluctuating, neurological condition that affects an estimated 250,000 people in the UK, including around 21,000 children and young people. Action for M.E. provides information so that people with M.E. can make an informed judgement on the likely effectiveness of different approaches and any risks involved. The Children and Young People's Service provides the information you need about M.E. so that you can make decisions about living with M.E. in the way that works best for you. The Children and Young People's Service currently runs the following services: A dedicated information and helpline service, a young members forum, a parent members forum, a birthday card and Christmas card service, Cheers - a magazine for children and young people, and a buddy writer.
