Corfe Mullen Community Foodbank

A food bank is a place where donated food is distributed to those in need or an emergency. Our service is for local people who are experiencing a crisis that is not their fault such as changes in benefit, debt problems, divorce, sickness, bereavement, redundancy, rising food and fuel prices, low wages all leading to a rise in people turning to a food bank. Since 2013 we have provided food parcels to those in crises in our local community. A typical family bag has enough food for 3 meals a day for 3 days. The local schools, surgery and library are among those who hold vouchers or contact us directly.
